Professional Biography:

She has worked in various clinical and management positions in long-term care, medical/surgical, and psychiatric mental health settings. Her responsibility has involved financial, personnel, education, material and clinical management in each of these settings. She has developed and presented educational training programs for administrators, managers, nurses and allied health professionals. McHenry is recognized as an expert in geriatric clinical management and nursing administration of long-term care services. She has worked in the legal field as a Legal Nurse Consultant for over 10 years serving as an expert witness in abuse, neglect and malpractice cases.

McHenry, a leader in her field, is an enthusiastic resident advocate and has actively supported initiatives to ensure quality care for residents of long-term care facilities. She has also promoted a positive and professional image of LTC nursing among her colleagues and gained the respect of industry leaders across the country. She is committed to volunteerism and making a difference at the local, state and national level.
