The Eleanor Mann School of Nursing assumes no responsibility for students employed in a health care agency. Students are personally responsible and liable for any activities they conduct while employed. The student liability insurance purchased by the University of Arkansas is valid in the student role only, not in the employment role. Students employed in an agency have the responsibility, personally and professionally, to engage in only those activities that are included in the job description for non-professional workers. Students have a responsibility to refuse to participate in activities that they have not been legally licensed to perform.
