The College of Education and Health Professions offers a number of scholarships in varying amounts. Recipient selection is based on a variety of criteria that are specific to each award. Criteria may include, but are not limited to, the basis of promise, character, leadership skills, scholarship, or financial need.
The scholarship application period for the 2009-2010 academic year is closed. The application period for the 2010-2011 academic year will reopen Jan. 1, 2010, at which time an online application form will be available.
The University of Arkansas offers a number of universitywide scholarships for which College of Education and Health Professions students may be eligible. For more information on universitywide scholarships visit the Academic Scholarship Office.
Loan forgiveness scholarships for Clinical Nurse Specialist and nurse educator Master of Science in Nursing students. For more information, please read the Online Fact Sheet. Two applications are online for master's level nursing students, Practice Loan and Educator Loan.
This scholarship program supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master's or doctoral degree in nursing. The deadlines for 2009 are April 30, July 31 and Oct. 31. For more information and to apply, please visit the Web site of AfterCollege.

Provides forgivable loans to students pursuing a course of study leading to qualification as a nurse educator. Funding for this program is provided through the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. All eligible applicants will be considered for award by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
