The handbook for students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program provides information on the history of the Eleanor Mann School of Nursing as well as its vision, mission and philosophy. It also offers practical information from expenses associated with the nursing program to performance standards to rules about proper uniform wear.
The handbook covers topics such as admission requirements, professional conduct, criminal background checks, ethics, advising, academic policies and behavioral standards.
The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education Board of Commissioners acted at its meeting on April 21, 2007, to grant accreditation of the baccalaureate degree program in nursing at University of Arkansas for a term of 10 years, extending to June 30, 2017. The board also acted to grant accreditation of the master's degree program in nursing for a term of five years, extending to June 30, 2012.
