Professional Biography:

Kathleen Barta has clinical expertise in the care of children and families. She has worked as a nurse educator since 1980 and was instrumental in the development and implementation of both the BSN and MSN programs at the University of Arkansas.

Academic Interests and Accomplishments:

Kathleen Barta has conducted survey research in the area of school nursing. She was instrumental in developing the new M.S.N. Program.

Kathleen Barta is married to Dr. Samuel Totten, Professor at the University of Arkansas.
